Auditorium - Fagnano Olona (VA - ITALY): February 2008 - April 2008
Collaboration for the supply of the structural calculations and checks for the auditorium forming part of a new multi-purpose center located in Fagnano Olona, in the province of Varese (ITALY). The maximum height of the building is about 9,0m and it is constituted by a main building with plan dimensions equal to 32,0m x 20,0m and a secondary buidling with plan dimensions equal to 22,0 x 7,0m. The elevations are reinforced concrete shear wall of about 20cm and 25cm thick, whilst the floor and roof deck are made with predalles shell. The load analysis, calculation and checks are carried out according to the italian structural code: "D.M. 14 gennaio 2008" and the subsequent "circolare del 2 febbraio 2009". The seismic analysis has been performed by the equivalent static force method, allowed for structures built in the seismic zone 4.
