Auxiliary structures - Petacalco (MEXICO): October 2007

Collaboration for the supply of the structural calculations and checks of two service platforms, piping supports and other machinery supports to be erected inside of the pump house, in the Petacalco's plant (MEXICO).All structures are made by steel. In additions to the structural checks have been developped the chekcs of the main structural joints.

The load analysis and checks are carried out according to the following codes:

• Manual de diseño de Obra Civil - CFE Edición 1993 - “Diseño por sismo“;

• Manual de diseño de Obra Civil - CFE Edición 1993 - “Diseño por viento“;

• AISC ASD 9th edition;

• ACI 318/05;
