Glassware enlargment - Manfredonia (FG - ITALY): February 2009 - October 2009
Collaboration for the supply of the structural calulations and checks as a part of the glassware enlargment located in Manfredonia (ME - ITALY). The main design activities consist in the creation of two new area for the energy production as shortly described in the following:"ORMAT" area:
- one air condenser whose the support structure, made by steel, are supported by R.C. plinths;
- one heat exchanger, straight anchored to the reinforce concrete (R.C.) plinth;
- turbo generator, straight anchored to the R.C. slab which have a thickness equal to 2,3m and plan dimensions equal to 6,88mx2,5m.
- two heat exchangers whose the support structures, made by steel, are supported by two R.C. plinths;
- one expansion vessel and two pumps, straight anchored to the R.C. slab which have a thickness equal to 90cm and plan dimension equal to 16,7mx7,7m.
